Brit award winning artist, songwriter, and one of the UK’s most in-demand super producers, Taio Cruz, will visit Australia for the first time on a whirlwind promotional visit from Thursday August 18 to Saturday August 21.
A relatively new name to the Australian music landscape, Taio Cruz has definitely shown why he’s in such demand around the world with his current single “Break Your Heart” – moving thirteen places this week on the ARIA Singles Chart to #2. The killer track also moved to #16 on the Hot 100 radio airplay chart (The Music Network, May 17) and has already topped the charts in both the US and UK. Click HERE to view the video.
The single, produced by Taio and Fraser T Smith, is Taio’s first solo release since exploding onto the scene with the massive chart smashes ”Come On Girl” and “I Can Be”, and his UK Gold-selling debut album “Departure”. The critical and commercial success of the singles and album quickly established the 25-year old Londoner as one of the most exciting British artists to emerge in recent years, ‘Break My Heart’ is the first release from Taio’s hugely anticipated second album “Rokstarr” which will be available June 4.
In between writing and recording his own material, Cruz has kept himself busy writing and producing for a host of incredible artists and songwriters including Usher, Justin Timberlake, Britney Spears and Pussycat Dolls, and has a growing waiting list of high profile artists wanting to work with him.
