The impending tour from Virginia’s iconic duo Clipse that has had rap fans and hipsters in a frenzy since its announcement months ago, has just bolstered up an already amazing local support line-up on their two Meredith sideshows. Sydney’s show at Metro Theatre on Dec 12th now sees the addition of Hoops member and triple j Mix Up presenter Nina Las Vegas, who will perform alongside Ro Sham Bo’s Levins and Wax Motif. Melbourne’s Dec 8th line-up welcomes dancefloor legend M.A.F.I.A., who joins club kings Opulent Sound and Mat Cant.
The rap duo will touch down on Australian soil for the first time after three classic albums and nearly a decade at the forefront of the rap music landscape. One-half of Clipse, Pusha T, has been especially prolific in recent months after signing to Kanye West’s G.O.O.D. Music label and appearing on Kanye’s massive Runaway single, including performances alongside the superstar at the MTV VMAs and Saturday Night Live.
