Chris Brown

Chris Brown charms Melbourne!

His first words to his adoring Melbourne fans were ‘ i came here to party’ and young Breezy certainly did just that. The 21 year old delivered on his opening promise, and had the crowd resonating his sentiments for 1st track “Say It With Me’, bringing the entire audience to their feet. The show began with a military theme - as CB took charge of the arena in his camouflage gear. Chris wasted no time before bringing out his signature popping dance moves to the stage with his tightly choreographed routines, and incredible back-up dancers in tow.

The packed out show was supported by local talent including Justice Crew and DJ Havana Brown, who did a great job warming the crowd up for Australia’s sweetheart Jessica Mauboy. Jess, who showed off her new curves, held nothing back with her amazing vocals.

The title of the album and Tour is F.A.M.E which has 2 meanings - Forgiving All My Enemies, and more evidently on stage Fans Are My Everything.  The screaming fans in the full house of Rod Laver Arena showed that they truly were ready to forget the past scandals, and were hungry for Chris’s amazing talents, a combination of athletic ability and beautiful vocals, and Melbourne was ready to appreciate the new offerings Chris Brown was bringing.

Chris Performed some of his classics such as “I Can Transform Ya”, “Run It”, and the hip-hop club hit “Wall To Wall’ where he really broke it down for the fans by bringing some of the intensity of the video clip to the stage. The crowd were forgiving of the fact that some of these tracks were mimed, for he compensated and gave the audience what they wanted, by not holding back with his moves.  However he mixed it up, and suited up, to showcase his beautiful vocals on his slower jams such as “Yo”, “No Air”, and my personal favourite “With You”.

The highlight of the night was when Chris gave his Melbourne fans his Australian chart topper “Yeah 3x”. It seemed like the entire audience was singing along with him, and at that moment the venue could have easily been mistaken for a giant party rather than a concert. There was dancing, screaming, glow sticks and excitement in the air. The atmosphere was electric.

Chris Brown definitely knows how to entertain, involve and engage with the crowd and proved that Fans really are his Everything!

ILLNESS FORCES CHRIS BROWN TO CANCEL PERTH SHOW

ILLNESS FORCES CHRIS BROWN TO CANCEL PERTH SHOW ON HIS F.A.M.E. TOUR

Australia; Acting on strict doctor’s orders, Chris Brown has regrettably been forced to cancel his Perth show on the worldwide F.A.M.E. tour due to contracting a severe flu and bacterial infection. The concert was scheduled for today, Tuesday 3 May at Burswood Dome.

Fans of Chris Brown will already be aware that he is unwell due to his recent postings on his Twitter page.  At his concert in Brisbane on Friday night Chris told the audience he was feeling unwell but still managed to put on an amazing show despite his illness which has now escalated.

Chris’ touring physician, Dr Bill Anseline says: “Chris has a severe viral illness. The virus has developed into a nasty chest infection and he needs rest. He is not fit to perform on stage nor is he fit to travel. He was devastated and wanted to push and go for it, but for Chris’ health and wellbeing I recommended that he didn’t take any risks to avoid ongoing complications.”

Managing Director of Jive Live, Daniel Pritchard says: “We are all very disappointed to have to cancel the Perth show and this decision has certainly not been taken lightly. The tour has been going exceedingly well in all cities and Chris has been receiving rave reviews for every concert. I know how much Chris loves Perth and was looking forward to performing there. Like all his fans, we wish him a speedy recovery.”

All tickets for the Perth show will be refunded. Ticketholders are advised to contact Ticketek on 132 849 to obtain a full refund.

Australia is the first stop on the worldwide F.A.M.E. tour and fans in Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane have already witnessed Chris’ amazing talent, with his vocal and dancing ability impressing fans and reviewers alike.

Chris’ latest album ‘F.A.M.E.’ was released in March and the second single ‘Beautiful People’ is still in the Top 10 in the ARIA charts after seven weeks of sales. The first single ‘Yeah 3X’, a #1 airplay song, has been certified quadruple platinum and is his highest selling single in Australia to date.
