L-Fresh Joins The Low;Fi Tour

Featuring some of the biggest acts in hip hop today, the Inaugural National Australian ‘Low:Fi’ Tour has just announced a joint venture with The Street University that will see L-FRESH AKA The LION support NAS as he makes his way around Australia next month (Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide, Perth) .

Rising above the margins that try to hold him back, L-Fresh aka The LION exceeds when facing challenges most of us shrink away from. 20 year old Fresh, started writing raps in tiny home in Glenfield, South West of Sydney city. He doesn’t see himself as a kid that’s been hard done by but laughs when he thinks about the first songs he put down in his bedroom accompanied by a rat that used to stare at him through a hole in his ceiling.

Fresh says “One thing that strikes me as universal is that we all go through struggles and hardship. While the causes may be different, we all feel the same. I bring the different elements of struggle together in my music – I’m looking at the what’s common in hardship and the different way’s we rise above it. We all have the tools to realize our innate power. Real power is ultimately within the chambers of the mind. We need to harness it, release it in a way that is constructive for all people. For me, that’s what music is all about.”

L-Fresh took on the name “The Lion” after having a vision meditating at the Golden Temple in India. In the vision he saw a Lion standing amongst a hundred thousand people.
