On 30 May 2011, Mike Champion released his first single “Luv Mathematics” and it is receiving an overwhelming response.

This R&B/Soul hearthrob has been making girls weak at the knees for more than 10 years.
He has been the supporting act for T-pain, Akon, Flo Rida, Bobby Valentino, Tank and Kid Cudi and he is finally releasing his own album.

The self directed, filmed and edited video clip for this catchy track also released had record views ON YOUTUBE within 4 days of release.

Mike Champion’s first single “Luv Mathematics” is sensual, it’s smooth, but when you’re on the dance floor, in his words “it’s bangin” !

He is not just a sexy soul singer, he has written, recorded and edited all his music through his own label “Some Kinda Entertainment” with Super Producer Don Dolla (who was signed with Michael Jackson’s infamous producer, Teddy Riley).

He has recorded multiple songs and performed at hot spots such as The Basement and Notes Live but this will be the first time he releases his work. “I’ve recorded so many songs but finally I have found my style. It’s consistent, it’s me. It’s like that tingling feeling you get when something touches your heart. I’m ready to take people there” (Mike Champion).

The single “Luv Mathematics” is an explosive track. Mike Champion’s inspiration came from the beat – a contrast of heavy soulful synths with an upbeat tempo. It made him want to take the subject of mathematics – something very logical and numerical – and turn it into something sexy.
The school boy phrase “Subtract her clothes, divide her legs and you have a square root” was the starting point.

What you get is a well-thought-out, exceptionally written love song with a sweet, yet addictive hook.

Mike is currently touring the country promoting the single.

This single is just the beginning of something big. Champion has already finished his entire first album “Young Boy, Old Soul” which will be released in the latter part of 2011.
