It’s hard not to compare this song to ‘Bust it Baby Part 1’. The songs are a two-part ode to the women who have supported the music career of rap artist Plies. The Florida-based rapper attracts a massive number of women to his live shows, and prides himself on servicing his diverse fan base.

He has done that with these two vastly different songs, which are the same in name only. Both songs are enjoyable to listen to, but may appeal to different audiences. ‘Bust it Baby Part 1’ has more of a street feel to it in terms of the lyrics and melody. It’s a great song, but is more likely to be heard in the clubs than on radio.

‘Bust it Baby Part 2’ is the more commercial single and sounds like a radio-ready hit. The smooth track has crossover appeal and pushes all the right buttons. The catchy hook is likely to appeal to lovers of R & B and it doesn’t hurt to have the multi-talented hit maker Ne-Yo featured on the track. Ne-Yo’s distinct voice is a nice compliment to Plies’s street drawl.

‘Bust it Baby Part 2’ is the first official single from Plies’s second album ‘Definition of Real.’
