#1 Your Love (Remix) – NIKI MINAJ
This little dynmo has come a long way since her discovery in 2007 by Drty Money CEO Fendi. Numerous mixtapes and guest appearances later and all of a sudden, bang Ms Minaj is the next big thing outshining fellow divas Foxy Brown & Lil Kim. Her new single Your Love relies heavily on some clever sampling of the Annie Lennox classic No More I Love You’s and it’s haunting melodic riff balance Niki’s rhymes quite nicely.  It certainly looks like Minaji has the goods to be around for a while and lets hope so coz the industry needs more talented divas like this young lady.

Gucci Mane released from prison.
Gucci Mane has been released from Fulton County Jail in Atlanta, GA to a crowd of media and supporters. His release comes six months after he was sentenced to a year in prison on November 12, 2009 for violating probation in a 2005 assault case. His sentence was shortened due to time served in September 2008, following a previous probation violation in the same case. In addition to a handful of fans who had gathered outside the county jail just before midnight, Gucci was welcomed home by his manager Kevin “Coach K” Lee and Todd Moscowitz, executive vice-president of Warner Bros. Records, who escorted the rapper out of the prison facility. Awaiting him on the outside were fellow ATL rapper Shawty Lo and frequent collaborator DJ Holiday, who orchestrated the release of Gucci’s most recent street album, The Burrprint 2HD last month. Once out, Gucci took less than 10 minutes to read a prepared statement before being whisked away by his handlers. The statement allowed Gucci to thank fans, his legal team and label for their ongoing support and to express his regret over the events of the past few months. “My incarceration came at a pivotal point in my career,” he read, hurriedly, “just as my first major label album was dropping. I was forced to miss what should have been one of the proudest moments of my life. This is something that I will make sure never happens again. I want to continue on a positive track and truly focus on being a role model to my fans and my community. I am looking towards the future with a newfound respect and appreciation for the law and a strong dedication to my music and my career.”
With So Icey Entertainment now dissolved, Gucci is currently readying the summer 2010 release of his new project The Appeal on his Asylum/Warner Bros Records-affiliated imprint 1017 Brick Squad Records. The label will also offer new projects by Wacka Flocka Flame and
the group Brick Squad, which consists of OJ, Flocka and Gucci

DMX denied Celebrity Rehab .
DMX can’t catch a break. TMZ reports that a judge has denied the troubled rapper’s request to leave Arizona and be a part of VH1’s reality series, Celebrity Rehab. X is currently serving a six-month sentence in an AZ prison for violating his probation, stemming from an incident where he threw a food tray at an officer while he was locked up on drug, theft and animal abuse charges last year. Admitting to using cocaine on several occasions, the rapper was thrown back in jail in March. Dr. Drew Pinksy wrote a letter to the judge asking to treat the Ruff Ryders rep at his Pasedena Recovery Center at the time of the incident. Last week, the judge shot down the request, sighting that the Yonkers MC was doing just fine in the court appointed substance-abuse program. Apparently X would be allowed to leave the state and film for the show after the program is finished in July, but by then it would be too late for filming.

Toni Braxton denies love affair.
R&B singer Toni Braxton has denied recent reports that claim that a love affair is to blame for the state of her relationship with estranged husband, Keri Lewis. Instead, according to Braxton, their marriage may have been worn down by the stress of their working together.
“There wasn’t a third party involved—nothing like that,” said Braxton during a recent interview. “If there was, I’d have a whole different personality right now. Maybe it was the working together—the stress—that ended our marriage. But we are great friends still.  I’m not happy about the marriage breaking up, but you gotta do what you gotta do—you know when things are dissolving.” Despite what they may be going through, Braxton insists that the biggest priorities of her and Lewis right now are their two sons, and she also revealed that while she doesn’t plan on getting a divorce anytime soon, it may be a while before they are reunited. “[We] haven’t talked about divorce yet. When you have a special-needs child, that changes things. We’ll see what happens, I’m not eager for us to get back together again, but…I’m not eager to go any further than separation right now. I think for boys, it’s important for a father to be around and Keri is very active in their lives.” In related news, Braxton recently released her sixth studio album, Pulse, on May 4 via Atlantic Records.
