Jessica Mauboy’s Album goes Platinum!
Jessica Mauboy’s debut album “Been Waiting” has gone platinum, for sales of 70,000, says Sony Music Australia. The record is in the ARIA Top 20 chart 22 weeks after release. Mauboy performed the title track, her new single, on the 51st TV Week Logie Awards on Sunday. It is the third most played song on Australian radio. Mauboy also makes an appearance in the movie “Bran Nue Dae”, which will premiere at the Melbourne International Film Festival in July.
