50 Cent: Blood on the Sand
The fast-paced game finds 50-Cent looking for revenge and his diamond encrusted scull, in a fictional Middle Eastern country. Set in the decaying aftermath of war, full of concrete blocks, low walls, pillars and corrugated iron to hide behind, the game sees ‘Fiddy’ gunning down his fair share of soldiers and warlords, as he closes the gap between his G-Unit team and his loot.
There is plenty of 50 cent style ‘gangsta’ dialogue, clichéd one liners and a whole lot of G-Unit music to keep the players entertained and even bring out a laugh or two. Although the game is mostly repetitive and has an arcade-style scoring system, Blood on the Sand is a lot more fun than one would give it credit for.
The game does not have much originality, but the combat scenes are fast and engaging and there is enough action, music and tactics to keep you entertained. It is not overly difficult, but neither does it lack in interesting challenges. Although it may not be best suited for the hard-core action game enthusiast, it’s definitely a must-have for a hard-core 50 Cent fan.
