Okay so there are a few fellow Groove on members who have specific diet needs for body building and sports reasons, some for more health issues and some to look after themselves.Interested in what people are doing and whats working for you..

What do you think of detox diets?

I know this has come up before..probably from me..but new forum and we might of learnt something since then!!

I’m gluten free- allergic to wheat, rye, oats..and anything gluten. But I still have been very low in energy and glandular fever is coming back at me..so there is a new list of foods I am currently cutting out including sugar, some fruits; apples and pears and..honey I can’t believe that myself; I live on honey. But apparently the froctuse in these things is why I’m feeling like I just fell off the back of a bus at the border of good health.
Well am giving it a week and will see!!

Auds, who are you seeing for your allergies? I’ve got a friend who had a major list of medical problems. She’d tried seeing anyone and everyone about them. Some of these problems are pretty serious, like jolting and not being able to control it, amongst other things. She had seen neurologists who couldn’t help her, but she went to see this dude at the medical ecology centre, bill giles. He put her on a really strange diet, basically just eggs and meat, i know it sounds weird, but it’s fixed all of her problems. No shit. It’s been 2 months, and she hasn’t experienced any of the problmes she used to (and it was a lot of problems).

Maybe you should consider seeing him next time you’re down? I hear it’s REALLY expensive, but i’ve heard lots of good things about him from heaps of people. I might go see him, but i’m worried he’s gonna be like.. “Bobbie, all you’re allowed to have is bread and water”. How am i gonna get massive on bread and water?!?!?

Check it out.

Oh yeah Poppa go see Bill Giles he’s good! He’s the one I had my Vega test with who confirmed i’m allergic to Gluten. there is alos an irodologst Beba knows that is a must see when he comes down here.

I’ve got a Natropath down here I see and my sister is a traditional chinese medicine student, so she hooks me up with acupunture etc when she’s down too..honestly I’m one of the healthiest eaters I know, there is only a limited amount of things I can take out which are not good for me...without it being just green tea and corn fed chicken!! ....maybe its the chicken..  gulp

Chicken, Fish, Vegetables, Strawberries and Rice Biscuits..

I have been off it for a week and feel soo much better even with a hang-over and a poor eating weekend.

Will do this detox full form for three weeks, step it up a bit!
