No I haven’t lost my mind ...I know we’re coming into Summer… BUT

Firslty - I"m going to Canada next year and I’m a total hobo in winter. Jeans, hoodie, trackies etc.
Secondly - I have never been to the snow.

SO my questions are:

1. How do I look hot?
2. How do I look non-hobo?
3. How do I look non-tourist?

ALL WHILST KEEPING WARM?

Help me ladies!… and gents if you think you have some advice to offer

You live in Canberra and haven’t been to the snow? I went to Jindabyne and to Thredbo in summer, haha quite pointless really. Oh God it was the worst, so boring. The whole place is pretty much dead sheep and rocks.

Anyways. I have given you my advice already but layer, layer, layer!!! Team with a nice scarf. I really believe accessories can make almost any outfit look good. Missoni do the nicest scarves ever, you may be able to find some at a good price on eBay. Definitely pack a good pair of wool tights to wear under dresses, skirts etc. They keep you so warm.

It might be hard finding winter clothes and the only cardis they seem to have around now are quite thin, but if you layer them you will keep warm without looking all bulked up. Maybe just pack basics and once you’re over there you can suss out the fashion and go shopping!

Let me know how you go with finding some man style pants! I love the ones that are loose fitting around the top but go in below the knee. With a thin belt and an awesome pair of sky high heels for nights out you can’t go wrong! I love that look. Just try stuff on while you’re in Melbourne and if you feel comfortable in it buy it!!!

hahh snow fashion? that’s a hard one, the only thing you can really notice up there is goggles
