My daughters family most of them can not read, write or speak good english so they end up with jobs like cleaners, housekeepers, old aged carers, shelf packers (woolies, coles)
When they get here they go to special english programs provided free by the government but allot of them drop out and cant be bothered going

Hey Kaza,
What do you think the reason is they can’t be bothered going is? Because it is too hard/daunting or do they just not want to learn?

i think education just gives you more options and makes it easier for you to pursue them. i’m in my last semester atm, but honestly still not 100% sure what i wanna do. i have friends who have finished a science or arts degree and now doing a DipEd to become a teacher. at the end of the day different industries will have different requirements.

It’s all about optionss.

Aside from education, i’ve made some great friends & will miss the easy lifestyle a uni-student has.
