Fuck yeah finally gave this album a proper proper listen and its great. Takes me back to the Temptations and Smokey Robinson. Raphael you are the man!

Yep, listened to the whole CD now and definitely loving it. Brilliant album.

Every track is awesome. I love Staying In Love, Love That Girl, Oh Girl and Keep Marchin’.

I know im going to get blasted for saying this. Maybe even bashed by Ant-1 at Seven lol....for the record i am a Raphael Saadiq fan but i did give his new release a spin and while it is good...i find it very unoriginal..i mean you would rather see the real Elvis than an Elvis impersonator...i would rather have coke than coke zero....the same i feel for Raphael’s new joint sounds like a soul zero album...i mean the similarities with Smokey Robinson..makes me think that when i have Smokey at home why would i go and listen to the watered down version of Smokey...no disrespect to Saadiq but what was the whole point of this album...i mean ok fine ur influenced by Smokey but why record an album that is so similar....Sorry i was actually anticipating this release...and i forgive Saadiq as he is very very talanted....still want him to release house of blues dvd.

Sorry but Thats the way i see it.
