DMC dj championships: state results
The first two state winners of the DMC World Dj Championships have been decided.
In NSW reigning champion DJ Skoob took out the NSW state final for the unprecedented third time. DJ Typhonic and DJ What? cut and juggled their way to second and third respectively.
In Melbourne, DJ B.2wo went down a storm, and is generally seen as current Australian champion DJ Perplex’s greatest threat to the title. DJ Osyris finished in second place. DJ Elev8 and DJ Crusador tied for third place.
The ACT finals is on Friday Aug 1 at the Green Room in Phillip with Mexi, Nathan, Maggot Mouf, Dazed & Flawless and Roshambo.
The Western Australian final is also on Aug 1 at Funk Club at The Rosemount Hotel in North Perth, with DJ Dexter (4-time Australian DMC Champion, runner-up 2000 World finals) in attendance.
The Qld final is on Thursday 21st August at The Met in Fortitude Valley with Reason, Ciecmate and Fraksha plus Pure Product.
The grand final is on Saturday 6th September at the Hi Fi Bar in Melbourne.
