Perth has no absence of Stevie Wonder wanna-be’s. Perth Mix 94.5 is running a competition where the winner gets to sing with him at his October 14 show at the Burswood Dome. 45 people turned up for auditions on the weekend, while another 10 were videotaped at their homes. These are now up on the station’s website mix.com.au to vote for. Station Content Director Steve Mummery says the standard is high, adding, “I can’t believe Stevie agreed to do it in the first place.”
