We have a sweepstakes going at work, and i ended up with Portugal. Not bad, but i don’t think they’re going to win. The top 3 plus the last place win money, so hopefully Portugal will end up in the top 3. Whoever got North or South Korea will probably get the wooden spoon.
I dunno who i’d pick to win. I don’t really follow the football. I do think Australia will get past it’s draw though. If we do, there’s a good chance we may play against England! That’d be interesting.
Is anyone heading out to watch the first game early Monday morning? I’d imagine federation square in Melb is going to be PAAACCKKEED!!! I was staying in the sofitel over looking fed square 4 years ago when Australia played Brazil. All i could see was a sea of green and gold. Awesome to see!
