I consider this to be a major change to the forum and as a result I am a disillusioned customer. Customers generally appreciate consistency. Changing the look and feel of a forum is entirely different to discarding the whole of its content.
I don’t so much see it as cleansing. I see it more like this was my home for two years, and although I went away for a while, I came back and my room has been converted into a garage.
The history of the forum was useful and interesting. What I left here meant something to me and it’s gone.
Soc, did you ask any of the members what they would think of all the threads being deleted? You have made a big change, I expect it cost you something. What do you perceive the benefit to be? Perhaps that it’s more appealing to potential new members?
My other comment was in response to Poppa saying “I think she don’t like us anymore”.
