2010 lineup… $150 bucks a ticket (sold out now)
I can’t wait for this festival, seriously for that price and the amount of heavy weight bands… I wish the urban world could do a festival of the same calibre. Seems all urban events are way over priced for the acts that we recieve…

I was too busy to reply to stalkers any how wink

I saw The Creepshow (main reason i went - psychobilly!), Real Big Fish, ISIS (couldn’t stay in shed 4 it was too hot and the BO hit you in the face as you entered - i missed Anthrax ‘cause of smelly men!), ALEXISONFIRE, placebo, AFI, janes addiction, escape the fate, faith no more and a bit of HIM. I’ve seen HIM 4 times in Australia now - I love that group but seriously their performances are getting worse each time.

If you liked escape the fate you should’ve checked out Alexisonfire. Then again you should listen to ATREYU - they are the kings of the emo-metalcore smile

One of the best festivals i’ve been too, except for the dust and shed 4 BO! Weather was awesome!

ahahahah shut up

yeah it was hot as anything thank god for those tents with sunscreen that’s all i can say lol

yeah my boyfriend is obsessed with escape the fate so the only reason i was there really was cos i’d lost him but ended up getting caught up in the crowd and just staying in there by myself and rocking out hehe

heard a bit of placebo but a bit over them. taking back sunday were good but were on too early. LOL @ BO… i didn’t bother going anywhere near the sheds, didn’t want to get crushed!!!
was funny watching all the kids pissbolting out of paramore after like the first song cos they were scared lol poor things

wish it was still friday :(

I don’t get it tho, he likes escape the fate but you didn’t see alexisonfire?
The main reason i went was the first band to perform, i was there from the start!
Scared? Nah they probably had another emo band on elsewhere wink

lol yeah cos i’m obsessed with paramore at the moment (i know, teenybopper central), and they were playing immediately after alexisonfire on the next stage so we kinda listened to that while getting a decent spot for paramore in front of stage 2. yeah there were girls pushing their way out crying cos they got squished haha it was kinda funny but i did feel a bit sorry for them. pretty sure the boys missed half of escape the fate too for four year strong but they saw ETF on monday night anyway.

so fucking rapt with the weather, how shitty was it for the rest of the weekend lol

oh i didn’t mind set your goals either, not bad. didn’t hear anything i didn’t like to be honest though. good timessssssss (very pissed times by the end of the night lol thanks god it’s only a short trip back to my house!!)

Can’t do paramore the lead singer drives me nuts, short people yelling extra loud? meh… Then again i really enjoyed AFI, Davey rocked that show!

Rest of the weekend was mad i had a bbq with pirates, went clubbing, ended up in whoop whoop with some girls, finished it at a restaurant on brunswicks st for pasta then churros. It was one of the best weekends i’ve had in ages…

am sitting here humming my apocalypse to myself cos the lyrics crack me up

i’ve gone into hyper overtired semi hungover land

lol ‘dying is your latest fashion’ is where it stops for me, my apocalypse is cool, but there’s no sympathy for the dead is better… But they get all like my chemical romance…

Couldn’t believe how many PARKWAY DRIVE tshirts were worn at the festival, theyre the best and proper metalcore not this emo-whingecore!

lol yeah now that you mention it i did see a few parkway tshirts - haven’t listened to much of their stuff but i THINK the completely untitled album i randomly have on my ipod may be them… if so they are ok, nothing mindblowing but not heinous

what happened with MCR being pulled by the way? i never even realised they were supposed to play till really recently.

You listen to emocore! Pffftt seriously look up Atreyu - you’ll love them!

They gave some weak excuse about Gerard’s vocals needing a rest - Jimmy Eat World was not a decent enough replacement - but then again i hate MCR they went to crap after he died his hair blonde wink

hahahah don’t be a music snob i like what i like

absolutely 100% agreed on the pre vs post blonde comment - i pretty much only liked helena, was never a huuuuge fan. three cheers for sweet revenge was a decent enough album for background music, my sis got me black parade for chrissie one year when i was just starting to veer away from the house scene lol maybe it was my transition band smile

one band i do like that’s a bit out of my usual is raised fist, don’t mind their stuff at all. i will pick up some atreyu smile or will you tease me if i start to get into them too haha

You bagged parkway drive! They are aussie from byron bay and are mega superstars now! The history of them and ‘i killed the prom queen’ is awesome!

You poor thing, you got introduced to metal thru MCR! No wonder! wink

I love Atreyu - they are the reason i got into the emocore side of things, the album ‘the curse’ is the best smile

I’m going to start my own band it’s going to be awesome. it will be me, my mum, and a monkey on crack playing the cymbals and it will be better than parkway drive.
lol i’m totally kidding by the way i wasn’t bagging i was just saying they didn’t instantly grab me like a lot of other stuff does raspberry

yup yup MCR and Bullet For my Valentine are what got me into this kinda stuff lol… still don’t mind bullet but don’t listen to MCR anymore!

fuck i’m bored i wanna go home and listen to music now. did you get the soundwave album?
