Jaaaayymeeeeeeee!!

A couple of persian remedies to try. My mother swore by them, and i must admit… They seemed to work when i was a wee tod.

- Ginger tea. That was the only liquid i consumed, and i consumed a lot of it.
- Coriander. I hate the taste of it, but it’s mean to be some awesome herb.
- Garlic. Urghh.
- No meat.

I don’t know the history behind any of it. It’s just a persian thing. Or maybe it’s a my mum thing. Either way, the only one i still use if i ever get sick is ginger tea. That stuff’s the best. Make it real strong so it burns your throat!

Having someone there to complain to is always a must..

Echinacea is ace but you have to take it right from the start

There is also Acupressure points;
Find the place where your index finger and your thumb come together, usually in the “V” part of your palm. Slide your finger into the depression and apply pressure. This point is used to treat sinus headaches and cold symptoms. Massage one or more of these points for three to five minutes as often as you choose to.

Most importantly hangovers! MUST be done on both sides to not the flow. There is two also at the back of the skull and two more inside the inner eye socket wink

^^Yes and on the elbow crease- but that one hurts like hell. Also some good points on your feet for your liver which is good for hangovers too.

or Codral can be just as effective...lol

I HATE ginger.  I hear its awesome stuff, but I REALLY hate it…
-
I’ll give the accupressure a go.  Funny cos I naturally seem to push the inside part of my eye socket all the time.  Let you know how I go with the hand one - although that seems to hurt a bit
-
I have garlic tablets
-
Eating no meat won’t be a problem
-
Can you still get cold tabs with psuedo in them or are they all off the market?  They were the only things that helped, these new cold tablets are useless!!
-
And I know, water and sleep.

Echinacea is the shiznits!!!

My mum
Brandy and warm water before bed to knock you out and have a good night’s sleep (my nonna and my mum always made me do this when I was little HAHA I blame them for my alcoholism LOL)
Tea with honey and/or lemon
Lots of garlic
I like the non-drowsy Codral’s, they seem to work
Keep your fluids up and lots of rest really!!

Hehehe Sudafed original recipe! Then again id prefer to buy speed. Drug dealers don’t judge you like the chemist does when you ask for pseudoephedrine. Owwww an chuck in some DXT/DXO cough syrup and you should be sweet for many many hours!

HAHAHA u can get the original one but u need a prescription for it!!

When I was a very young child I remember being so ill once that I couldn’t move at all. My mum gave me some demazin, walked into the kitchen to put the stuff away, came back and I was swinging from the curtin rail after having climbed it and was apparently completely hyper for ages after that.

I hate when the chemist gives you the third degree!  I know they have to ask questions, but I always walk out of there feeling like more crap than when I walked in!
-
I know a guy who could hook me up (lol) but I reckon tea and bed might be the way to go…

Hahaa LiLi Adelaide has “PSEUDO-WATCH” damn bikeys extracting out the paracetemol and re-selling the product! It’s still legal behind the counter isssh over here.  They should just make it prescription medicine everywhere, seriously i’d prefer to go to the doctor rather than go to the chemist to be treated like that! Once i had on trackies not the usualy 9-5 corp look, i was asked for i.d. - i refused to add my name to the hello i’m a junky buying speed list!
-
Remedies remedies, speed/pseudo-eff is the only remedy that’s gonna get you out of bed and off to work with no stress.

In Canberra, pseudo is classified as an S3 i believe. Meaning they’re behind the counter, and have to be administered by the pharmacist.

I think they should be prescription only as well. Some of those junkies will kill for the stuff. Had been threatened a few times when i worked in a pharmacy and wouldn’t hand it over. Same with junkies coming in wanting needles from the diabetes stock.
