where’s the ashes thread in here? or is everyone not interested? I think this will be a very good series, england will be coming in without a full strength team, and pretty average test form, although their batsmen are making runs, but i dont think their bowling is up to scratch....
Australia is all over the shop.....nuff said
Want to see the aussies win, but not going to be overally dissapointed if they lose
Yeah i agree will be a good series. Im loving Warnie he is having a go at everyone, paul collingwood, john buchanhan & Bopara.
Lets see how the aussies will go with no spinners & im sorry the current spinners they have are rubbish
well Lee bowled real well last night & took 5fa & got some real good reverse swing going, i think this is where he will stand out, he has the experience to use reverse swing effectively.
Beautiful action dont you think? Brilliant technique, reminds me of a young boy from South East Melbourne in his hey day
The Aussies have a good pace attack, i dont care what anyone says but they have a retard for a spinner & a suspect middle order battling lineup & im still not convinced by Phil Hughes.
i agree there pace attack is actually pretty good but as for there spinner lol he looks like hes gonna bowl flowers at them as for brett lee, hes bowling action now looks alot better and now hes got reverse swing, god bowling at 150+ with reverse swing is fucken evil
-
where is that kunt jason kerjza who took 8 wickets in india, he is actually decent when it comes to bowling but the aussie selectors are fucken idiots bc they only give someone a chance once and thats it, i guess they have marcus north who can bat and bowl but yeh
-
no wonder they suck in the spin department
-
aussies weakness apart from there spin is there batting, they probably have 2 or 3 ppl who actually make runs (katich, hadden n north), u could probably add the scariest of them all is mitchell johnson lol who has scored 60+, 96 and 123 n damn he can hit a ball t (katicbut i dont see
-
the aussies winning the ashes in england, if ponting and clark fire with the bat then they will be good to go but they aint
-
the english team is filled with currys and south africans, where are all the poms lol
-
wat i like tho is how everyone is jumping down the aussies throats bc there not as good as they where, wat do u expect when a number team for almost 20 years loses there main guns, langer, hayden, gilly, warnie, mcgrath…
-
it happens to all the teams when they lose there main gunz, look at india and lanka and prob even south africa, they are next to lose there big gunz, watch them fall

LOL, Jaysuriya will be playing till he is 50, he will open the batting in 20/20 with his grandson
lolllll haha so true
-
i think the curry teams are the only teams who actually dont let go of there older players
-
soon some of these old kunts will be using the wickets as walking sticks
Did you hear about Chaminda Vaas? Yesterday the chief of selectors said Vaas has retiered from test cricket, today Chaminda Vaas has come out & said this is false. LOL
Only in lanka, the selector was probably drunk
Everyone is saying that its even at the end of day 1, i reckon England are doing much better than the Aussies.
The Collingwood/Pietersen partnership was quite solid & proved once again that ricky pointing is an ordinary captain & rubbish tactician. Hilfenhaus didnt bowl enough in that afternoon session.Imo Hilfenhaus & Siddle were going to be the wicket takers on that pitch esp on day 1, not that hack Hauritz & definetly not part time tweakers like Clarke & katich.
Pietersen is so arrogant, cocky & confident, i love it. He knows the aussie bowling attack is lacking in confidence & he just batted as if it was a net session, shame he didn’t kick on & his arrogance got the better of him.
Australian cricket is low on confidence, its blatantly obvious. The obnoxious, arrogant bastard XI that use to be Australian cricket team is long gone.
Day 1 of the first test of the Ashes is Australia’s chance to show how arrogant & unforgiving they are on a cricket field, its kinda like an ‘open day’ for bad behavior on a cricket pitch but everyone turns a blind eye to it because its Day 1 of the Ashes, however last night there was NO mongrel in that side, no arrogance, even Pontings field placing suggested that. It was too defensive, too soft.
Anyway I think this is going to be a ripper of a test. What did you think of the SBS commentary team? Imo it was so bad it was good. Stuart Macgill did a really bad Eddie Mcguire with a chip on his shoulder impression, Damian Martyn was in the middle & was given a token opportunity to speak & when he did he didn’t say much & Greg Mattews was his usual ‘everyone is shit at cricket & I should have been test captain 20 yaers ago’ attitude. Stuart Macgill is a crap host but is brutally honest & straight up, to be honest him & Greg Mattews hate everything & everyone & together can be quite entertaining, cringe-worthy but entertaining nevertheless.
well the ausies just finished at 1/246 atm with both katich and ponting getting there tons in the last 2 overs
-
SBS is just horrible and im so glad that fox sport HD is showing this even tho i aint really watching this series that much
i dont know how u guys can listen or even watch those retarded ex aussie cricketers trying to commentate
-
only funny thing is that they all got dropped
-
i would rather not watch cricket at all atm, so damn boring
mm the aussies are playing well atm and only need like 210 to win but they will crumble when play starts even tho clark and haddin are doing really well
-
the poms will win this ashes series bc of there lies
-
the poms deserve to win this test but not in the way they are doing it
-
hussy gets given out when he didnt even hit the ball
-
strauss said he caught the ball cleanly when hughes hit it behind when asked but replays show he didnts
katich was out on a no-ball
-
the 1st test englang waisted so much time so they could tie the test
-
looks like england are the new dirty kunts of world cricket on the field
