My next question - do you think these sorts of tracks have a place, in their original form, in clubs today? Or has the moment passed and clubbers aged to a point where they just cant get rotation anymore.
Saldy the moment has passed. Many of those tracks have dated and will struggle to get as Guernsey even on a quality music night like Alumbra Soul Sessions (where we generally can be more creative)
Its sad for the sentimentalists but frankly they have been replaced with more (not as old) wonderful tracks. I’ve reconciled to this fact some time ago
