I’m quite annoyed by the Australians.

There is absolutely no way Saeed Ajmal has an illegal action why is it always when the Aussies cant handle a bowler they sook and make out that the bowler is doing something illegal.

Look at the past records

Murli
Harbijan
Shoaib Aktar
Shoaib Malik
Botha

And now Saeed Ajmal

All these players played county, and other series and first class cricket and never had an issue with the authorities. Until they play Australia.

U watch any money when Australia plays Sri Lanka they will be clueless on Mendis...and i bet u Mendis will be reported when he plays against the Aussies.

They are a better team than the Pakistani’s and they will probably win the series but there is no need to winge to umpires like Shane Watson did.

Pure Stupidity...the funny thing is i was watching the first match and i joked with my cuzin by saying Saeed Ajmal is causing trouble to the aussies they will prob call him a chucker too lol.

TNA is in progress as we speak. Hall, Syxx, Flair, Jeff Hardy have all made appearances. Should be a mad night.

Brett Hart is my fav wrestler of all time however TNA is exciting me more at the moment, i just love ol skool wrestling, the classic characters like Hall and Hogan and all the big names are in TNA ...WWE may be bigger but quite frankly im sick of seeing John Cena vs Triple H vs Batista vs Undertaker vs Randy Orton every week.

Eat Your Way Out of Depression

Posted: 02 May 2010 02:51 AM PDT

I am reading a book at the moment by Dr John Gray called The Mars and Venus Diet and Exercise Solution: Create the Brain Chemistry of Health, Happiness, and Lasting Romance. This book has literally opened my eyes to a whole new way of looking at things. Dr Gray indicates that the majority of the population is walking around with depression in some form or another. Each year millions of people are prescribed anti-depressants and sadly, millions attempt or commit suicide. Many, many millions more may not be clinically diagnosed with depression, yet display symptoms of it. For example many of us have a feeling that something is missing in our lives – a lack of enthusiasm, passion, energy and drive. Many of us get sucked into the daily grind and are pulled along, being worn down by life rather than energised and excited by it. Sometimes our mild depression even manifests in physical health symptoms.

According to Dr Gray, we may literally be making ourselves depressed. Research has shown that women who have symptoms of depression generally have low levels of seratonin and men who feel depressed have low levels of dopamine. Seratonin is a chemical in the brain that relaxes us and helps us to remember that everything is going to be all right. Dopamine is a chemical in the brain that gives us energy and motivation.

Our diet, level of activity and relationships can actually alter our brain chemistry. The type of foods we eat and the time of day we eat them can significantly impact the production of seratonin and dopamine. Similarly the amount, type, duration and timing of exercise or lack thereof can also have a dramatic effect on our body’s brain chemistry. The quality of our relationships, communication, work and lifestyle also have the potential to influence our levels of dopamine and seratonin.

For example, according to Dr Gray, to maximise seratonin production and therefore, reduce feelings of depression, it is very important for women to do their exercise in the morning. It is in the morning that the body produces seratonin which is stored and drawn on throughout the day. By doing exercise in the morning a woman can enhance her serotonin production.

It is also very important that women eat breakfast (it’s important for men too and even more so for women). By skipping breakfast we can slow the production of seratonin and set ourselves up to feel tired and drained throughout the day. Of course, the type of food we consume is equally important. The best breakfast is free of processed foods, provides a balanced mix of carbohydrates, protein and fat from natural sources and is high in vitamins and minerals. Highly processed foods (think Cheerios) and junk foods (think Bacon and Egg McMuffin) give us a quick fix and an energy serge in the short term, however, ultimately they causes our seratonin levels to fall too low. Whilst junk foods are not good for our brain chemistry, the great news is that “moderate amounts of chocolate (dark, organic) have been proven to stimulate brain balance so that seratonin and oxytocin (another feel-good brain chemical) go up and stress is dramatically reduced.” Yay!!! …probably not for breakfast though!

In his book Dr Gray focuses on the impact of diet and exercise on brain chemistry and therefore, our feelings of happiness and wellbeing. He does however, highlight that other factors including our jobs and our relationships can also influence our brain chemistry. Most importantly though, he indicates that by eating and exercising to enhance brain chemistry, we are empowered to bounce back from these other influencing forces much more readily.

Certainly food for thought – literally!

I dont understand this why do indians pakis and lankans produce pitches where the teams are scoring 426 and 591 in the first innings, its already 3rd day in australia for example having both first innings completed on 3rd day is normal cos the pitch will do something and u will get a close finish or a result. But in the sub continent if both teams were untroubled then this is going to end up in a draw why is sangakara still letting his side bat man they already have a big lead now use ur ace murli to win u the game.

IPL Season 3 - Is it credible or a farce?

It seems that the IPL is becoming a farce. How dare they mix politics with sport. It seems strange and utterly stupid to me that not even one Pakistani player was drafted in the auction. I mean hello the Pakis are World T20 champions, sure we suck at test cricket but we are a leading force in Twenty20. I don’t understand why no franchise would sign up a Pakistani player.

I mean their reasons were Visa issues, which is bullshit, the history of all this began with the IPL having a deadline for all players from all countries to submit the correct paperwork to be eligible to play this included visas and clearance. Initially the PCB missed the deadline, but the BCCI and IPL extended the deadline to allow Pakistanis more time to have clearance, to which the PCB submitted NOC clearances approved by them and the Pakistani government to allow Pakistani players to participate. The players were then shortlisted to 14 and were put into the draft, players like Afridi and Umar Gul and Akmal brothers etc. Even after the reassurance from the IPL president that there will be no issue from any government to the participation of Pakistani players none of the Franchises bought any players.

The reason given was they were not sure if there would be trouble or not. I mean how stupid is all of this all that is required for the Pakistanis to play is visa clearance from India, i mean how hard is it to get 14 passports stamped they are not everyday Pakistanis these guys are sportsmen well known and famous in the subcontinent this whole visa stamping issue is a big political sham to make sure Pakistan is not involved in any cricket events.

India have already not supported Pakistan in the World Cup game allocation and Pakistan was not allowed to host its own quota of games in Dubai their nominated ICC approved neutral venue for the world cup. Pakistan has stood beside India for many years in cricketing circles and now when Pakistan is in such a bad state their Indian brothers are just rubbing salt into our wounds. Its really pathetic and it looses credibility to the IPL i mean how can u have a tournament when the top players (current world champions) are banned from playing.

Pure Stupidity.
