Meet Motley… Hash Browne… Bobby Dazzla… Stephen Hawking… Cecil… They are a fine bunch of lads that make music with a little twitch. Come forth and join the adventures of ‘Burches Know’.

This is not for the faint hearted, or maybe it is, maybe people who have a faint heart would be better off working on their emotional problems and then revisit the ‘Burches Know’ experience.

Maybe we should stop talking doo doo and get back to the Press Release?

You may have seen Motley on the recent Bliss N Eso Flying Colours Australian tour, where he played to sell out crowds all over aussieland. ‘I couldn’t believe how crazy you aussies can get out here! I am really looking forward to coming back!Burches Know I’m coming back… they really do’ says Motley. After every show on the tour, the crowd demanded an encore… even though he was only the support act.

Motley also came with the goods last year, releasing the ‘Hairy Nandies EP’, which sold in excess of 1200 units on tour alone! The single ‘Save Some Time’ achieved steady rotation on community radio and Triple J.

But that was the past…

Motley is now set to release ‘Burches Know’ with our friends Hash Browne, Bobby Dazzla, Stephen Hawking(equal opportunity pimping spokeman) and the infamous Cecil (the original pimp). ‘Burches Know’ is a series of parodies and original material to accompanyMotley’s new single ‘Wayo’. ‘Burches Know’, clearly Motley isn’t taking himself too seriously and with this in mind, the listener shouldn’t either!

‘Me and the label didn’t want to just give the usual single with an extra track or two, Sothink of it as a single CD with a whole bunch of extra shit thrown in!” says Motley.

Motley will be touring the single/release with Vice DMC Champion ‘Zeke’ in Hobart (both underage and overage) and Launceston in June.

Born in Canberra. Raised in New Jersey. Residing in Melbourne. While hip hop so often obsesses over representing your home town, Bukkcity would rather hold it down for all three. While other emcees do their best to fit the moulds set by those that went before them, Bukkcity would rather carve his own niche by relating unique experiences that have – quite literally – brought him half way around the world and back again.

Born in Australia’s national capital to an African American father and a South African mother, Bukk’s family uprooted to Jersey, New York, as he faced a childhood far less sheltered than the one that had been promised to him in Canberra. After his father departed and the family moved several more times, a story not so unfamiliar in any territory… and like most kids in that situation he struggled to come to terms with the responsibility of being the only man in the house with his mother and two sisters, a responsibility that was thrust upon him well before he could call himself a man. In a place of ubiquitous violence, drugs and more violence, Bukkcity found himself a teenager with a struggling family and a talent for two things in particular – finding trouble and making music.

Featuring on mix-tapes in Sweden, Germany, Atlanta, New York and North California, Bukkcity has created a growing swell of followers which made him one of the most viewed unsigned hip hop artists on myspace Australia.
